• Perplexity AI: We use Perplexity to perform real-time web research about career fields and hiring companies. Queries include your job title and location, but not personally identifying information.
• Stripe: All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only:

• With service providers (OpenAI, Perplexity, Stripe) as described above, limited to what is necessary to provide the service

We retain your account and career data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), password hashing, and secure session management. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Career Guidance Compass uses session cookies for authentication. These cookies are essential to maintain your logged-in state and are deleted when your session ends or you log out. We do not use tracking cookies or serve third-party advertising.
